He apparently assumed that when our support provider told him that he needed to upgrade his property management system before a certain date or his support would be cut off thought they were bluffing

You lost computerized operations on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND? For your sake, I pray that you aren't in a high traffic area (although I kind of suspect you are). Even back in the days when I worked in a small time independent motel in the ass end of nowhere Oklahoma, I wouldn't have wanted to be computer-less on a holiday weekend, and I truly can't fathom what that would have been like during my stint with Days Inn.

My poor, poor Nevy. Hope you made it through.

Sorry for the delay. Yes we made it through alive, one nice thing about my location is its not near anything so all the really rowdy guests tend to avoid it. So it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

That said when the change over to the new system/owner occurs I am being somewhere else.
