I have had my journal 4 years, and only decided to go friends only now.

I love seeing the open entries!

I just felt that I needed to make this change though...for my own feeling of safety and security.

that's for damn sure. I've toyed with the idea of making my lj friends only but I'm not sure if I'm ready to close myself off just yet.

You'll do it if and when you get to that point...it took me a long time...I transitioned to it, I suppose.
