I just don't get Superbowl Sunday. I don't care about the fancy expensive stupid commercials (Memo: they are still commercials folks!). People go all out to celebrate this game and I just don't get, and never have gotten this fascination with the sports culture. But then, the same people can say they don't understand why I like to read gossip and ( Read more... )

I guess if I was American, I'd celebrate the Superbowl, too. But well, I'm apparently way too European for that. I tried to understand that game once, but failed miserably, so I guess I'll just stick to soccer and handball. ;)

Yes Lesley, I reckon if you lived here in the states, based on your fever for 'soccer', you would be a rabid fan of american football. LOL!

I'm just very indifferent to sports, but when a big game is up, I sometimes wish the best of luck to the city team I like the most. And in this case, it's the New York Giants.

May the best team win. capricorn_sistr February 3 2008, 20:37:33 UTC
I can already hear the sirens speeding down the street. There is pouring rain outside. The Super Bowl parties get loud and rowdy. When the roads are slick - folks still drive like idiots! Now, add beer, liquor, more parties = disasters waiting to happen.

Ha! the California folks hardly see rain but for only in Jan and Feb and with the congested traffic there, I'm sure they all forget how to drive in rain. LOL!

Silly Californians. xoxo

I'm thrilled for them. I hear it was a nail biter too. All the better!

I hope the Patriot's egos, esp. Tom Brady's is. Ha ha!

Yes, my family and I huddled around the TV for Superbowl Sunday. We had hotdogs and all that stuff. The commercials were not that great this year. I didn't have any vested interest in either team, so whomever won good on them (in this case the Giants and I do love NYC).

It's been a busy couple weeks for me. So, girlie! when did you start working at Macy's again? I know you hated that place.

Hey Dyana, glad to see you're still around. Read my previous post because I directed a question to you.

I just started working at Macy's again, but it's on the sales floor, not doing stock work. It's cool.

I have another p/t job interview lined up on Thursday, not gonna hex it by talking to much. but if I get it, it'll open many doors. :-)
