I know that saying these things probably makes me appear to be a horrible, spoiled person, but really I am just ranting, providing myself with much-needed catharsis, which is just one of the many delightful purposes of this journal. Not only do you sound spoiled, but you sound like an a terrible person!
Im not hear to preach or piss on your parade, but everything your mother says sounds perfectly reasonable.

You just end up sounding like a fool.

Grow up and accept your responsibilities. And be nice to your mother for god's sake.

So guilt-trip equates, in your world, to one expressing their unhappiness? Your mother, it seems, has been giving you money (something not all college parents do, as I sure know!) and since you didn't work for it, yes, it's her money and she does have a right to know where it's going. And for all you know, if she doesn't get some light shed on it, she can simply cut you off. Do you fail to realize that? She's CERTAINLY not asking to be SHOWERED with gratitude every "fucking" second - way to blow things out of proportion. From her email, it looks like you've taken it forgranted and haven't even thanked her
