I can't say there is one definitive moment. However, I do remember how great it felt to spend a Saturday in the BTW newsroom with deadlines approaching, the sunshine pooring in the big windows and music filling the room. I still get the same rush when I'm in the office alone with music playing and a chance to be productive without being interrupted.

Probably the same time that I realized he makes me feel safe. Somehow it coincides.

Mostly the chance to be creative. I thrive on it for some reason.

It sounds a little silly, but nothing terrifies me more than living life without John. I don't mean losing him to someone else, but more a circumstance that I can't possibly control. It happens to people everyday and the "What if?" constantly sits in the back of my mind.
