In God We Trust

I got an email forward a few months ago about not using the new dollar coins because it didn't have "In God We Trust" on it... I happened to have one of the coins handy and looked at it... "In God We Trust" was on the *rim* of the coin. I responded to that effect back to the person who sent the email (annoyingly enough somone who got my specially set up wedding related email address since I figured if I went to one of those bridal show things that I would get a good bit of spam, and I have - this was a mass forward from a random vendor to a bunch of total strangers!) and never got a response. [sigh]

Anyway, yeah, freedom is relative and there's a lot of attention being spent on less critical issues like where a flag is produced or text on coins vs. actions of various people and pending legislature. :( Happy 4th anyway... it's been a good day mostly staying home and getting caught up on a bunch of niggly stuff...
