With an 11-year-old daughter at home, we, too, have had to endure High School Musical. *shudder* When we rented Hairspray a couple of weeks ago, which honestly, I didn't have high hopes for, we were floored by how good it was. Zac Efron was in both, but better in the latter. The performance that surprised me was Richard Marsden (Cyclops in X-Men). I had no idea he could sing and dance!
For the record, our daughter is over her HSM phase and has taken down her Zac Efron poster. Although we did spend hours and hours driving and waiting once to see Ashley Tisdale sing two songs at MOA. Wheee!
