I'm so glad that everyone is OK. Since Moose is so young, it's probably good that this happened now, instilling in him the idea of how quickly things like this can happen. Cheeseburgers help everything, don't they?

More importantly, we have to get him back behind the wheel today - he's the kind who could freeze up and refuse to drive if allowed to wallow in the fear.

Thank goodness everyone was ok! I can see why everyone was shaken...that sound of metal on metal and glass and impact is frightening, at best.
Having an accident at 16 (or so) can be a scary experience. I was rear ended by an old drunk coming home from a bar on a Saturday afternoon when I just started driving. The bastard got out of his car and started yelling at me! Luckilly, my friend's dad came outside and put him in his place. I was truly shaken and would have believed it was "all my fault" at that point in time.
