I'm curious about one thing: Since the initial intention was to do the whole adventure solo, and meeting the crew was a random occurrence, how do you feel your experience would have been different if you in fact had been alone the whole time? Would you have stayed as long? Would you have gotten into the same danger? Would you have known how to avoid the police?
No doubt the experience changed as soon as I introduced other explorers. I find the other explorers as interesting as the building so I'm always glad to have others along. I don't think the cops would have been an issue if I had been alone. It's a lot harder to spot one person than it is to spot five.
Great story! It was compelling and edge-of-the-seat exciting at the same time. This had to be your best story yet. I'm still awed by the lengths the security people go to patrol this place. You'd think they were hiding alien bodies or gold bricks there....
So I'm left with the rather obvious question: Where do you go from here? It's going to be tough to up the ante on this adventure.
You don't get to the Super Bowl by throwing all hail mary passes.
Seriously though. You're asking me how I'm going to up the ante. I'm gong to be asking you folks to help me do it. I need locations, guides, wingmen for adventures.
COME ONE SANDBAGGA'! Don't present problems. Give me solutions!
Well..... I'm in Pa, so I'm not exactly in your back yard, but no so far away that it couldn't be reached if it was worth it. I'm afaid I come up a bit short in the excitement category though. The two places in this area that fit within your normal modus operandi, are Byberry and Pennhurst. Both of which have been extensively explored and documented before, and not as secure as where you've been (Although I've heard a rumor that Pennhurst now has security handled by the military). Other places that have piqued my interest are Frick's lock (an abandoned town), which is interesting from a historical perspective, but not very exciting, and the S.S. United States, a ship which is the current recordholder for fastest trans-atlantic crossing, which is now rotting away in Philadelphia. But I hear that it is virtually impossible to climb onto, due to security.

As to an up of the ante? Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea has surfaced on another thread... An entire country of security, total commando style.
