Ooh, wonderful! I love all of it - dear sentient city, and dear TARDIS determined to help a fellow machine-with-a-soul. I suppose the Doctor really would let her go if she wanted to, but I'm sure it would break her heart to leave him. (Can you tell I'm all about the TARDIS love? ;) And once again coffee and/or tea is the solution to everything!

Thank you!

Let's just say I grew up in a town where the bars closed at 2AM and the all night restaurants experienced a rush of coffee drinkers at 215AM. >:-)

Well she is as alone as he is, and in one of the Eighth Doctor novels, I want to say The Taking of Planet Five (Which was kind of a strange book to say the least) The TARDIS vouches for the Doctor to other TARDISes. Angry and crabby TARDISes. Its about all I remember from the book, other than how strange it was overall.

Thank you!

Well, this is the seed from which a story will hopefully spring. (Ignore my over poetic-ness, I have to go to work tomorrow, a job I hate. Hint: International retail chain beginning with W)

Part of a work in progress, but this stood fairly well on its own.

Oooh that's clever! I like the notion of the TARDIS having someone else to talk to...and the idea of him giving her the choice and her staying with him.
