Another reason why Xmas can kiss my ass

Dec 26, 2014 17:51

My father-in-law died this morning.

He was a complete dick but my beloved is crying. I don't like seeing or hearing my beloved cry so I have been hugging and kissing him all day.

Oh, I'm so very sorry.

My mom died on New Year's Day. It will be a while before the holidays are not colored grey for him, I fear. Good for you with the hugs.

Holidays have been grey for a long time around here.

Dad died January 5, 2013.

Mom died December 23, 1978. Yeah, I was TWELVE at the time.

The Beloved hugs me a lot at this time of year as well.

Not trying to win the "Who Grieves More At Xmas" Contest, just ... my poor beloved.

Thank you, Carol Ann. Also thank you for the Xmas card. One day I might get off my lazy fat ass and send you one. :D

Just saw this, don't check in too often-my belated condolences to him.
