This is long overdue, and I apologize for my negligence for the past mumbledy-mumbledy years, but I'm finally putting on my big girl pants and admitting that my days of running the newbieguide community are behind me.

I'm not deleting the community, and all the (mostly outdated) information here will remain forever and ever or until LJ finally implodes ( Read more... )

Looks like they never got back to you, huh? ;) Did any other comms ever take over the function of this one? Seems like there'd be a use for it...

Thanks for setting it up and running it - it's still one of my go-to places for fandoms new to me. And I've got my newbieguide ready to post, if I can find the file.
