I've just barreled through the Mistborn series by Sanderson. I'm apparently a book behind on The Wheel of Time and need to reread at least the last two or three of those. But I figured since I enjoyed the last one, I might as well read the stand-in author's own work

I got the Mistborn series for Christmas, for the same reason! Although I also just read the first novel in his own epic fantasy series (The Way of Kings), and it was awesome, and made me want to read more of his stuff! I haven't touched the trilogy yet b/c I was finishing up American Gods, and now I have Cooking for Geeks...but soon I will feast upon the Mistborn.

I'm halfway done with the first book. I won't post any spoilers, promise! I would normally spend a chunk of my evening playing videogames, but right now I'm curled up on the coach with the book and Beeker, so she can have some time sans cone.
