1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? gotten crunked!!! yeah!

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i didn't make any resolutions, or at least i don't remember them. and i'm still deciding wheather or not i should even make any resolutions this year. i don't think i will.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no

4. Did anyone close to you die? not anyone close, no.

5. What countries did you visit? florida and canada, which was not so great. florida was decent, but i would have rather gone overseas, or anywhere else where i haven't already been 5 times.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? less drama, and more easy-going, all around good times

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? john overton's 18th birthday party. why? man oh man...mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! tostitos!!!!!! what the fuck is going on?????!!!?!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting accepted to every college i applied to.

9. What was your biggest failure? perpetuating certain things that should have just ended right there, but that's all done with now.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? no

11. What was the best thing you bought? my car, and everything guitar-oriented that i purchased.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? i'm not quite sure.

13. Whose behavior made you annoyed? everybody's at one point, at the very least.

14. Where did most of your money go? gas, and guitar related stuff. and repairs on that god damn escort.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? playing at the shelter with minus the motherfucking bear.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004? off broadway by every time i die.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner
iii. richer or poorer? richer, if you can call it that.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? playing guitar

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? there isn't really anything i wish i had done less of. i guess that's a sign that '04 was a decent year.

20. How did you spend Christmas? at home with my family, then at my grandma's with more family, just like every christmas.

22. Did you fall in love in 2004? not in the least bit.

23. How many one-night stands? well there was that drunk shit, but that doesn't exactly count.

24. What was your favorite TV program? that 70's show, and home improvement. (they still are my favorites, again)

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? yes. several people actually.

26. What was the best book you read? the rum diary by hunter s. thompson, and dave gorman's goolewhack adventure by dave gorman. pretty much every book tom lets me read turns out to be excellent. he has good taste ;)

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? minus the bear, between the buried and me, glass casket, every time i die....there are many.

28. What did you want and get? beer!

29. What did you want and not get? more beer!

30. What was your favorite film of this year? definitely eternal sunshine, without question.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? i turned 17, and i didn't really do anything out of the ordinary.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? playing more big shows, but it's not like that's something thats easy to obtain.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? nobody in particular. that's what i liked most about this year...i didn't waste any time setting any ridiculous goals or standards, and i just lived it out one day at a time. that's the fucking way to roll.

34. Who was the best new person you met? well...no. probably lindsay or jessica, and of course mr. ohsosweet. he's hot.
