I also like the idea of slash based on Henry Gondorff and Johnny Hooker (Newman and Redford's characters in The Sting). Talking with other fans is a good way to get ideas for a piece of fiction, but you gotta give us something to work with.
What do you like about the pairing? About the characters? If you like Henry's blue blue eyes, or the way Redford uses his hands when he's playing Johnny, or their dialog -- those are all good starting places for a story.

Personally, I'd love to see romance and, of course, sex - but that's because I'm a fangirl!slasher at heart, lol.
