Butch and Sundance reunion sadly not going to happen

Some bad news regarding another re-teaming of our favourite slash couple.

I know in the last two years or so Paul said that has lost confidence in his ability to get the best performance out of himself.   His physical condition has also deteriorated.

Argh! That would have been awesome!

I would have been surprised if they did it though- Paul didn't look his best in Iconoclasts, and I believe that was a year or two ago. I wonder if he's doing alright......

I'm truly sorry to hear that. I always regretted that they didn't do a sequel to "The Sting" as had been reported back then (they did do a horrible remake without them).
I loved both of them together,and I don't think there's been any duo with more chemistry in movies !

That is a shame. But of all the actors I know, I most trust Paul Newman to say no if he doesn't think he's up to doing a good job. And I'm grateful for that.

I started some fanfic about a month ago. It basically follows the sequence of the movie, but with a few changes to try and make the storyline flow to how I want it. All the characters and events of the film are the same, just some dialogue and an 'extra scene' placed in........if you know what I mean ;)
