I'm so glad you liked this! The last few lines are my favorites as well. I struggled with them, and initially had a different last line.So I'm especially glad you liked them!
Thanks for reading and giving me feedback-I plan on writing more soon. I agree that we need more fanfic for The Sting!

Oh. I liked this! Especially:
His eyes looked at Johnny with concern and worry. Johnny found he couldn’t say anything intelligent in response. He was too busy staring into the depths of Henry’s eyes and wondering why he suddenly felt that they were the only ones in the room.

Gotta love that sexual tension!

Thank you for writing and sharing this!

I'm glad the sexual tension aspect came through, because I was trying to convey that. I felt the two of them would be kind of hesitant and not really know how to deal with their feelings.
Thank you for reading and commenting- I'm glad you liked it!

It's good to see a story in this fandom!

I particularly liked:
Henry fixed him with a penetrating gaze that seemed to go right through him. He was too damn smart.

It rings true for me as the way Johnny feels about Henry, especially early on while there's still a sheen of "The Great Henry Gondorff" about him.

Hey! I just realized that this was the shot glass story you mentioned in a comment back in July!

I'm so so glad that you wrote it!

Thank you! Yes, it took me a while! Certain parts of it didn't seem right,so I revised them a few times! Originally I had them kiss, but thought it better to have the sexual tension remain in the story.
I also felt kind of nervous about posting,so I understand how Ticken feels!
But I'm glad I did,and hope she does,too!
