[Oh look, its Canada. And a swarm of Butterfree.]

So, um... Butterflies here... really like maple sap? I tried to tap some trees to make syrup... And look at them all!

[He giggles delightedly and watches one flutter past.]

They're so pretty... D-do you think they'll be friends with me, if I keep getting food for them?

[Oh wow look a swarm of Butterfree! Cooper hasn't even seen a single Butterfree before so his face has a look of pure marvel as he sort of roams into the scene, a small Wooper trailing behind looking very shy.]

I did! It was an accident, but... They're beautiful... And they seem friendly, too!

[Smile is a bit distracted as he looks around, but definitely there. He makes sure to look at Canada as he adresses him, though.]

It's not uncommon for beautiful things to be found in accidents. This is evidently one such case.

[He nods his head.] Why not, aru? Besides, not all pokemon need to be caught through means of battle. My Lien-Hua, for example, came to me by her own will when she was just a Magikarp, aru.

I'm sure that if you caught one it would grow fond of you over time.
