» when did you first get into watchmen?: When I first saw the movie C: I actually hadn't ever heard of it before, but as soon as I saw the trailer I was fascinated by it. I've recently gotten back into it when I re watched the film. I still have not read the graphic novel, which is shameful but I'm currently saving up to buy it.
» favorite character(s): Rorschach.
» Why? Besides his absolutely wonderful character design I find the way he thinks completely fascinating. His black and white view of society and it's morals. I usually find extremely conservative characters annoying, but Rorschach has wiggled himself into my heart. Like a heartworm. What a terrifying thought..
» Tell us about your favorite pairing(s). What's the appeal? What makes them tick? I really fancy Dan/Rorschach. I find it absolutely adorable and hilarious, mainly because Rorschach has no interest in filthy whorish things such as sex, and sex including Daniel would not make it any better. Dan is questionable, I think he's too busy obsessing over owls. However it could actually make sense. Dan is the only person who has ever been close to Rorschach, so Rorschach in theory falling in love with him would be a way of closing a void. The whole psychological intrigue of the Jungian shadow bag of childhood traumas hidden within the idea of this pairing just appeals to me. Or I could be over thinking it and I just like both of them awkwardly holding hands in a corn field.
» graphic novel or film?: Well... I've never read the graphic novel.. I know I'm terrible, but at this point from hearing other people's opinions, and the common sense of knowing that the original is always better than the adaption I'll say the graphic novel. Or I could say both, but then I'd look like a waffler. (I do love the movie though.)
