I just cannot see it working, although, as the review said today, the target audience will not care as they were not even born in time to see the original
Oh yes. I was a big fan of Bob Peck's acting having seen him "doing" Shakespeare at Stratford.
I can see why some lazy film execs are digging up good TV drama but IMHO the original "Edge of Darkness" worked in a period of gloom, despair, and nuclear threat in the claustrophobic atmosphere of the UK in the 1980s, which is nothing like Boston in the 21st Century.
