In my head, I always have this image of Merlin tracing the lines and shapes of Arthur's body with his eyes. There'd be a small croissant of yellow light --you know, the sort of soft point of light you can see reflected on a wall by a random piece of glass or your watch-- materializing in some way the path of Merlin's gaze. Arthur would not notice at first, but he would feel the warmth of it. On the back of his neck, his hand, the corner of his lips. Invisible touches but for the soft light that would make his skin glow for the briefest of moment.
