That is utterly gorgeous. You've taken one of my favorite Suzanne Vega songs and used it to tell me things about John that I hadn't consciously realized. There's so much he doesn't, and can't, say in words. This is really stunning, and casts his silences and his inability to speak his emotions in a whole new light. Thank you for this. Oh, wow.
