Huh (aka the Power of the Interwebs)
So I got girly the other day and painted my nails *FYI Jaimi, that 60 second polish- VERY YES!* and by today they had started to chip off my fingers. Toes are fine, strangely but I guess the fingernails get bent more frequently. I would've bet money on my having polish remover in the house somewhere, because I don't remember using it all. Home Sweet Home?
So I don't know if going home was such a good thing. It was great seeing my family, reacquainting myself with cousins I hadn't seen in many, many years, seeing old pictures of my Dad and his family. Wrench in my travels
So I get to Portland right before they started boarding the flight. No big deal because they did that in BWI a full 1/2 hour before the flight was scheduled to leave and I got to BWI really early and sailed through security. Awesome parents
So I have awesome parents. They're paying for the airfare to get me to Maine and back for the funeral on Tuesday. I just said that I wished I could be there and they offered. I wouldn't have straight-out asked, I'm not like that. Plus it's $400! But they were willing to pay for it, I'm not going to turn it down ( Read more... ) -
Sunday Morning
Got the call a little while ago. Nana passed this morning around 5am. The funeral's going to be on Tuesday, apparently a lot of the preparations were pre-made. I'm going to talk to my parents tonight but it's looking doubtful that I'll be able to make it up, unless I drive myself and beg for gas money.
