I finally got my comics (the comic book store owner was sick, which evidently leads to the store being closed for several days!) and I LOVED Angel & Faith #17. I always loved Ethan Raynes and Ripper, and I even thought this made sense (a logical extension of stuff we learned back when BtVS was on TV). I liked the art and writing, but of course most of all I love the story.

I just wish I could say any of those things about BtVS Season 9 (I didn't dislike season 8, it was a fun look into Joss' brain... but season 9 is boring, badly written, and even the drawing wasn't looking very good in the last issue... *sigh*). Luckily both Spike and Willow are entertaining.

I'm always drawn to the non-main characters in the Angel and Buffy comics. Billy and Devon from BTVS Season 9 are my favorites, but I fear that they're going to rewrite history and just make us forget they're a couple :(
