I got tickets to The Mars Volta tonight in Myrtle Beach.

The shitty part is when I woke up yesterday I was sick. I still am.

This blows, going to a fairly large show all sore, hot, and stuffy.

I am Legend sucked. The CG looks terrible to the point that it is terribly unconvincing. Don't get me wrong, there are some parts in I did like, but over all it's just not good.

I also heard Omega Man was terrible also, but I have pretty low standards for anything with Charlton Heston in it.

The Last Man on Earth (Vincent Price one) is pretty rad, but it's an old movie, so expect it to be a bit slow.

Omega Man was the only charlton heston flick I liked (unless you include his reading of Cop Killer lyrics). I thought soylet green was lame. Thought he did great in omega man, its worth a watch-once kind of thing, he broke out a night vision BAR against some (more or less) zombies and all sorts of badass weapons. A lot of 70s garbs floating around. Foxy Cleopatra clone he winds up mating.

I heard the same about the CG in I Am Legend. We were discussing how he shouldve taken the Romero approach. Have a real front line of well detailed people and as you move back have less and less detail. Hell, the Thriller video did an alright job in creating a volume of zombie (although repetitious) by controlling the shot angle.

Have you got your hands on Diary of the Dead yet?
