We start Tumble Tots next week (the walking-2 yrs class).
Have any of you been before? What exactly does it involve? I've got the gist from the website, but MIL (who used to be a Tumble Tots instructor) said "Oh good, Lucy will learn loads of new songs!" which threw me a bit. Singing?!

My brothers went to Tumble tots and they did some of the activitys to music and had a little song at the end, maybe they'll be doing that.

Unfortunately, yes, there will be singing. Sitting around in a circle, singing, and doing all the joyful actions.

It mainly includes child running around and climbing and playing with the ton of nifty toys. But yes, there will still be singing.

It was horrible. I only went once [although I was 9 months pregnant when I went]. I hate the whole happy clappy sitting around in a circle singing irritating songs crap. You're meant to know all the actions too, and you just sit there looking stupid, with a kid that is trying to get up and go back to playing with the cool toys..

Are they at least songs I might have heard of, or do they make them up? :/
Oh well, we're starting at the beginning of a new Tumble Tots year so hopefully there will be other newbies there with me!

we go to 'sensory play' and 'book bounce and rhyme' where they do singing in a circle, i hated the thouight of it the first time and didnt sing, just mouthed the words, but then realised everyone was as bad as me anyway so i enjoyed myself more when i joined in! and at book bounce they give you booklets with the words on so thats ok!
