I don't know what all this fuss is about LJ/Facebook/Twitter, and I don't care.  I don't use LJ that intensively. I barely use Facebook, and have no interest in Twitter. And I'm grumpy and a curmudgeon and happy under my rock. Harrumph.

So anyway, not going to be sharing any stuff any whichway. The end.

Oh... it was nice to occasionally get a glimpse into your life.

No, no, not cancelling LJ! Just not programming it to share with any of the other thingies, that's all. Because I'm like that.

Ah! That I can understand. I don't have either of the other two, and am also not intending to share with either.

I have a very firm firewall between this place and Facebook. Not going to breach that (any more than it already is, anyway). LJ is "safe space", for me, to work out the crazies. Facebook has too many people on it that don't need to know anything at all about the inside of my head.

See, now, I found the icon on Facebook. But that's as far as it goes, I'm ignoring the linky thing too.

Yea, it's even more evil than that, apparently. See, if I wanted to, I could quote your entire post here in my comment, then click that little box that would connect to FB and the whole freaking world could conceivably read about your rock-hiding tendencies.

Suuuuuuuucks......I'm a seriously displeased.

I can't think of a single reply I've made to anyone's post, locked or not, that would make a lick of sense cross-posted to FaceBook without the context. And so far, I haven't seen a lot of friends over on FaceBook, posting cryptic messages that belong attached to someone else's LiveJournal entries. (Then again, I tend not to accept friends-invites on FaceBook from people who habitually post enigmatic snigglets or tweets.)

I suppose it's possible that I could quote large swaths of a friends-locked post in my reply, and then cross-post that to FaceBook, but I can do that now, anyways. Really, nothing's any less secure than it was two weeks ago.
