The point is that, as you put it, this is an advertising campaign and that, theoretically, I'm paying not to see ads. I'm seeing them. That's it. It has nothing to do with whether I like them or not and it certainly doesn't make me sad. A bit angry maybe but not sad. The other point is that, quite ridiculously so, LiveJournal staffers have denied that these were ads. Don't you find that hilarious?
