A la carte userpics, Google Analytics, Frank recycles!

We're relieved delighted to announce that a la carte userpics are back in the shop! We fixed some of the outstanding issues (more details below). We'll be making additional tweaks, but we know how long you've been waiting, so we wanted to get them back on the shelf ASAP. Back on dry land, we're still celebrating this big blue marble we call home!

I would like to add that I am also concerned about this apparent policy-change for permanent account benefits. It doesn't really affect me, because I have all of 33 userpics and doubt I'll ever hit the current limit, but the perceived attitude change bothers me.

My understanding was that I was getting an account which would always be upgraded to the maximum for things, and this was re-enforced by the previous behavior of getting the previous userpic add-on for free. This makes me perceive not getting the current highest level under that version for free as a change in policy. On the other hand, if everyone could buy an infinite amount of userpics in batches of 25 or something, I guess I'd just expect LJ to give me 50 or so, tell me I could buy more if I wanted to, and call it a day. It's the fact that this still has a relatively low ceiling of 3 and I don't get the ceiling that bothers me, I guess.

Yeah, I'm on this train, too. I don't think I'll ever have/want/need 400, but as long as 400 is the limit and we were promised the max, that's what I'd expect.
