I´m mostly still here for the fandom, but with this new awesome feature, fandom will curl up and hide and probably die in time. Without the various fandom communities there is nothing that keeps me here.

Fandom's been around for decades. We were here long before LJ was a gleam in Brad's eye. We'll still be around long after LJ is dead. We'll just change media/how we organize.

Me, I'm mostly on DW now, and AO3 now. And I've backed up all the fic posted on LJ that I like. Where things go from there, is anybody's guess.

I meaned the fandom community on LJ. Which I love, because there is a com for nearly everything and everyone. Without searching various forums, archives and private websites to find people you can talk to.

Thanks, but I already have a DW since 2009, I already imported everything. I also have a IJ since Strikethrough. I´m just hoping that someday soon LJ fandom communities will move too. I´m just scared that people will panic and just stop posting or scatter everywhere, when the first Facebook/Twitter related problem will happen.

This right here just solidified my decision to leave my PERMANENT account here and move. This is apparently their intent, and they're probably not going to back down.
