Another voice here for having loved LJ - it was my very first online community and I'm sticking with it - but not loving the various updates. I will be a Keeper of Traditions for as long as LJ allows being a Keeper.

Perhaps somewhere in a library full of paper books you’re sitting in a cozy chair, in the candlelight, and writing impeccable lines with your quill.

That's me. :)

I'm a proud keeper of traditions, at least in the Live Journal venue. I do not like the new editor (and use the Semagic client instead) and prefer my old "Flexible Squares" layout (which I have customized but is now unavailable to new users). Thankfully, you have saved and "grandfathered in" our layouts, so we can still use them, although sometimes commenting on other's journals takes me out of my own layout into this new commenting page - like here - and I don't like it. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE "TRADITIONS" AWAY!! If you do, *I* might go away! Despite all this, I still adore Live Journal. It's home, and my friends live here!

However, I want to state emphatically that I'm not into quill pens and prefer to communicate via my computer and other digital devices.

You must be doing something right. How many other social media sites have lasted 25 years? The Internet is full of sites that come but then disappear. So - Congratulations!!
