For reasons we are still trying to figure out what was supposed to be a well planned attempt to clean up a few journals that were violating LiveJournal's policies that protect minors turned into a total mess. I can only say I’m sorry, explain what we did wrong and what we are doing to correct these problems and explain what we were trying to do but

As for a plan, I say above that we did plan to clean up some clear violations that had lingered too long and to clarify our profile policy. That was the plan... we messed it up.

And how, exactly, do you plan to judge what is "appropriate" content? I have "anti-war" as one of my interests. How do I know this won't be deemed "inappropriate" at some point?

I do not in any way condone the sexual exploitation of children or sexual violence, but this is a slippery slope which your response entirely fails to address.
