For reasons we are still trying to figure out what was supposed to be a well planned attempt to clean up a few journals that were violating LiveJournal's policies that protect minors turned into a total mess. I mean, don't get me wrong. I would guarantee that at least 99.99% of fandom does not support the kinds of things that these journals have been deleted for, plus many are survivors of these kinds of crimes, and said 99.99% of fandom would be fully behind the suspension of communities & journals that encourage those activities, but come on... suspending a Spanish-speaking Lolita discussion community? What I'd love to know is what the hell your criteria was for making these decisions. Obviously you didn't look even a tiny bit past the community names & user interests or you'd know that a lot of these communities & journals didn't deserve even a shred of your attention when it came to making selections for this rash of suspensions!

If you suspend by keyword, you'll get this fiasco again and again.

In most companies, policies and procedures for emergency situations are worked out well in advance, on the basis that hopefully they'll never need to be used. I expected more from you, particularly given last year's fiasco.
