Impressions in the Democratic debate

Barack Obama - For whatever reason, tonight, reminds me of FDR.

Hillary Clinton - A cheesy game show host a-la "The Running Man". I don't think she could get any more fake if Mitt Romney were using her as a hand-puppet.

One thing I always enjoyed about you was the imagery.
This made me snort outloud yesterday. Thanks.

I have to agree that ... wait, i just realized that I don't know if you meant that in a good way or not. Oh well, I am not unimpressed by Obama. He's certainly an interesting possibility

Thanks. In all honesty, the FDR impression wasn't intended as a positive or negative thing - it was just the thing that popped into my head when I wasn't looking and I first heard him talking.

Of course, if my first impression had been Paul Rubens or Ed Grimley, I just wouldn't have mentioned it. :)

I have to say I'm not totally unhappy with the way things are turning out on the Republican side right now, although I still prefer the 2000 McCain to the 2008 McCain, but either's better than Giuliani. (and while I like the things I've heard come out of Ron Paul's mouth, he still manages to come off like one of those guys who tracks the connections of a conspiracy on his walls in Sharpie and has wired his house to burn down in case the feds come for him.)
