Maybe you are trying too hard. Sometimes a situation needs a little finesse. You may need to work at it for a while, then give it some space and see what happens.

I can tell from your entries that some things do work for you. I have the same kind of thoughts sometimes when I think of someone who is "always" letting me down, then I catch myself and remember there were times when they came through for me.
