Yes, it was really kind of crazy what Umbridge did. I mean, yeah, I guess she's allowed to administer discipline, being currently a teacher and all that, but banning people for life is just extreme. Next thing you know people will be sent to Azkaban for looking at each other funny.
Yeah, Hagrid doesn't look too good! He looks like he's been in a few fights or something! But I'm glad he's back-- we learn about the most interesting creatures in his class. Though I like Professor Grubbly-Plank too. I think it'd be really interesting if they taught a class together sometime, but I don't think that would happen.
Thank god she doesn't have one of these, you'd be giving her ideas with that kind of comment. But I really do feel that someone higher up needs to put her in her place, remind her that power comes with responsibility, all that kind of stuff. Bet no-one will, though.
I haven't actually seen him myself, but I feel rather sorry for him. I don't take his class but he seems pleasant enough, and I'd bet you anything he'll have a tough time with the Pink Wonder.
Yeah, well, she'd also probably have expelled the lot of us seeing the types of stuff people write about her. On that note it's probably good that Malfoy and his friends don't seem to have one of these, either. He seems to like tattling on people to her. Though in all fairness not all Slytherins are like him. My sister's friends with a few not to mention the preposterous crush on Zabini and my tutor in Astronomy is from your house and they're all fairly nice. Yeah, you'd think that someone would go and put her in her place, but perhaps from how high up she is in the Ministry everyone just expects her to do the right thing all the time and contradicting her would be like-- treasonous somehow. Which is kind of a scary thought.
Yeah, maybe he's gotten hold of some new creature for us to study! That'd be interesting. I guess we'll have to see soon. I do hope she doesn't give him too much trouble though.
There would be absolutely no point in expelling all the students who criticise her...there would probably be barely enough students left to fill a class.
Damn straight we're not all like Malfoy. It'd be like saying all Gryffindors were like...I don't know, the most annoying person you can think of in your house, whoever that is.
I will predict that within the first five minutes of her first inspection of his class, she'll have made some kind of prejudicial comment about is giant heritage.
