Whilst doing my Potions homework this evening I started thinking about Amortentia (which is the strongest love potion in the world, or so says my textbook.) Anyway, my first thought was along the lines of "Dear, sweet Merlin NEVER let Verity Jenkins get a hold of any of this!" I mean, really, her threats about 'spreading happiness' are scary enough ( Read more... )

Cookies, I think. I'm not sure what else. Perhaps it'll come to me.

Private to Katie

I saw her swimming with Chris too! What do you think? At least she doesn't intentionally try and make him uncomfortable.

Well, you ARE the cookie supplier of Hogwarts so it fits.

I think that they would be very sweet as a couple. I also think they're both too shy to do anything about it. Maybe I should mention it to Verity... that would certainly be spreading happiness. Your opinion?

I agree on both counts. I also think something should be done about it. Nothing mean, or terribly just... Something. A tiny push, maybe.

But none of that silly Stawcett buisness!

A push sounds perfect. But... how? I'm not exactly an expert with these kinds of things.

No. That was horrid. Ange and Fred need to learn to behave.

I like the smell of pine needles, but on a girl I think I'd quite like something floral.

Pine needles do smell nice, like Christmas. What kind of floral?

I think geraniums smell really nice, even though they don't look so pretty. Roses are a good smell, too, and honeysuckle. Orange blossom. Lotus. Lily-of-the-Valley. Lots of flowers smell pretty.

I use orange blossom soap and I really like that way it-- no I don't think I will talk about my soap smell in the journals, actually. Yes, they do. Daisies are my favourite flower. I think my Amortentia would smell like daisies too.

Books and candles. (Not bells though, no offence meant.)

None taken. What kind of candle? A specific scent or just the normal kind?

I do like scented candles, but I was thinking of the subtle sort of warm burning smell you get as an undernote to any top scent. And now I sound insane.

I think I know what you mean. It is a nice smell. It's rather a difficult question to answer isn't it? Because It's not like I'm actually attracted to newly cut grass or the broomshed because they're inanimate objects. But... anyway.

Isn't that a rather personal question?

Private to Katie: I am never going down the deep end of the prefects' bath again. I think my fear of water is one I can happily live with.

Probably. But is hasn't stopped other people from answering it, Miss Avoiding-the-Question Spinnet.

Private to Ali: Awww, sweetheart. It seemed like you were doing rather well. And at least Chris Summerby was there to help you, right?
