Yes, I studied, and no, I'm not insane. I have six NEWTs, none of which I can afford to score lower than an E, and besides, crazy Muggle girl?

If it were you and you had the choice between crazy Muggle girl and the books, you'd pick the books too. Just trust me on this one.

That's too much coffee. And I hope she didn't ask for names when you told her you already had a girlfriend! And if she did, I HOPE you didn't name Ursula Grinnell. Because... just because!

Er, right. Would that make Harry my boyfriend? That's... not exactly it. I don't know any more. How's the studying going, anyway?

There is NO such thing as too much coffee. If you weren't one of my favourite people, I'd tell you off right now for being a heretic!

She didn't ask, and besides, even if she did, it's not like she'd know anyone I went to school wirh. Then again, it's a good thing that she didn't ask, because I'm not fond of lying, and I'd not know whose name to use.

The studying's going all right. I'm getting a head start on Potions, because it's going to be the most difficult NEWT to ace.

You could tell me off, but I'd still tell you the same thing. You're lucky you're already tall, as I'm surprised by the amount that you've consumed that your growth hasn't been stunted at all.

True. But then what happens if she asks for proof of the girlfriend?

That's only because Professor Snape is a moody git completely stupid uh... rather critical. I'm getting a head start on Arithmancy myself.

Oh, hush you. I can envision us arguing about this topic ten years from now, and no closer to a conclusion than now, so we might as well leave it alone, agree to disagree, and all that. And using scientific information to back up your point of view? Isn't that fighting dirty, Chang?

I'd have to hope that someone would come to my rescue then, in that exceedingly unlikely event. I suppose it's better this way-- it would be very awkward to importune anyone, and I'd rather not have to see HER more than once a year.

Not completely, I daresay. Alicia Spinnet has an easier time of it than I do, and she's a Gryffindor. I'll just have to accept that I'm better at Charms, and do my best, I suppose.

No it's not! I had a lot of studying to do, and the coffee was necessary.

And I am not a heartthrob. This girl is simply crazy. She's about twenty times MORE giggly than Lavender Brown from Gryffindor.

You know, I made a New Year's resolution during my OWL year not to exceed seven cups of coffee a day, ever. It lasted about a month and a half. But then again, it WAS OWL year. AND the Head Boy at the time was Percy Weasley. I joke with Cho all the time that it's a blessing she was not a Prefect yet that year.

Yes, yes it is. It's a good thing she doesn't go to Hogwarts. I don't know that the castle's quota for giggling can tolerate that addition.
