Oh noes, the boredom

Boredom makes my mind rot. I fall very easily into non-thinky mode when I don't have school. I'm currently in avoidance mode, even though I know that I need to do that resume/letter of intent thing that usually produces job offers. I'm toying with applying this month and seeing what comes out in the wash at UA. Scary stuff. I have a +/- ( Read more... )

DRM is so evil, half of the EU is currently banning itunes.

Vista is not worth it right now, video drivers are still largely crap, especially Nvidia's. Almost every game runs 5%-40% slower on Vista.

Kinda figured about Vista, but everything now comes loaded with it now. DRM is the deevil and somehow I've managed to not be caught by the DRM of itunes. All my music files are in their original mp3 format, nary a single one in acc :D
Trust me, I have no intention of "upgrading" until forced and I keep hoping someone will find a good way to make games work with linux so I can switch to Ubuntu.
I'm finding one has to be very careful these days...
