-------NOW A NOTE ABOUT THAT BOOK: I'm torn about what to think that my mother went and bought me an inspirational sorta self help book. I don't know whether it's good that my mom thinks I need it or whether it's bad...for the million reasons why that'd be bad. Regardless, I'm really happy I got that book, seeing as I probably need a book like that~ I kinda like books like that.
Yesterday was yet ANOTHER Saturday of complete slum.
Last saturday (right after my 8 am Math final~) I literally spent the whole day in my room. I just read and watched anime (Midori Days. Such an odd but adorable anime.) for the whole day. The only time I left was to eat lunch with Kyle and then later on when a bunch of people wanted to watch Jennifer's Body at 1 am. Saturday was literally the most relaxing day I've had in a long time. I decided to just not hang out with anyone- (everyone went christmas shopping. I sorta blew 'em off.) and I literally just slummed. For the whole day. It was wonderful.
Well, yesterday, Christmas, I did the same. I opened my presents with my family and then I plopped myself on the couch and finished reading Eat Pray Love(which was wonderful, by the way)-I just started reading The Gift as well. I never even changed out of my PJ's- it was awesome. Eventually my aunt came for a casual dinner for an hour or two, and then I continued on with my slumming, ending the night by watching the Blind Side (which was ALSO amazing).
But oh my god. I've never done nothing. I've never had a day when I didn't need to study or anything...I like slum days. I know once the new semester starts, I won't have one until the end of the semester, so I think I'll take this month and go through the ultimate slum. I told my manager this, and she said something along the lines of "Yea, I noticed- all your paperwork is screwy." Which is true. My paper work, according to Karen, was an absolute mess. Oh well. xD Luckily money wise I was good, so it's all good.
Okay, I'm gonna go watch a movie with my mom
Peace, Love, Ulitmate Slum Fest
