Thus far, my vacation has been rather uneventful, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Monday I slept late, watched both "Narnia" movies, and went to the gym. Two miles on the treadmill, then lifting for about 45 minutes. After stopping for a haircut, then getting home and grabbing a shower, I retired to the couch and did my weekly TV recap ( ( Read more... )

Are you trying to build or tone? (cause if you're trying to build, I've learned that it's always better to give the same muscles a couple of days of rest, because they won't grow if you stay on them every day)

Ahh, well, the lifting will tone a bit, but you probably know that. Lifting is mostly anaerobic exercise, you'd probably get a lot further with swimming for weight loss. I know those elliptical things are good for most folks, but for tone AND weight loss, swimming freaking wins, not to mention what it does for your heart. And I hate to say it, but you should think about adding a day of yoga in there about once a week. The pain from lifting will virtually disappear.

*I used to be a fitness nut...weight training for nearly four years. I always have these urges to go back to the gym, but my shoulders are already ridiculous.

also, is P.O.P. worth buying or should i just hold out the 6 days for Persona 4, cus i finished fallout and the FES and now i need something to do with my time.

How was Narnia 2? i liked the first one but lisa fired me so i haven't had a chance to watch the second one yet.

also, GO SEE TRANSPORTER 3 IT'S EFFING AWESOME.

"Prince" is pretty badass, but I'm thinking it's gonna be pretty short.
