I won't disagree with your summation about Transformers. All I can say is that I was at Glendale Mall when I saw it, and the racially offensive characters went over _really_ well. Everyone in the theatre was roaring with laughter.

I found it interesting that I'd already seen tons of slamming from people regarding that subject, to then be in a theatre full of people who not only didn't notice it, but thought it was funny.
