Having Mia in town was a blast. It feels like forever since we were able to really spend any time together and have fun like we used to, and we did our best to make up for all the time we lost. I picked up my new contacts on Tuesday afternoon. Much, much better than the first attempt. I’m still having issues under low lighting conditions, but the constant blurriness while my eyes keep trying to focus and unfocus has gone away. So far, so good ( Read more... )

Somehow, a nasty little virus managed to slip past my computer's defenses, and has spent the past few days wreaking all sorts of havoc on my shit. I decided that the headaches and fuzzy vision weren't worth the convenience of not having to wear glasses, so I took the contacts out and scheduled a follow-up visit.
