Isn't it "The Doors is overrated" being that the doors is one thing, one band? :P Anyway, I'm not their biggest fan, Emily is. Though I do like them : D

"The Doors" is plural. Besides, say "The Doors is overrated" outloud. It doesn't sound right.

Yeah it sounds perfectly correct. "The Doors is" is one thing. One band. Trust me. Saying "The doors are.." would be each member.

i think the doors are rated perfectly well...some of its overblown jam music, most of it is timeless. twentieth century fox, love me two times, riders on the storm, love her madly, break on through, stop me when i list a bad one...
