Pennsylvania Pizza Please! [EDIT]

May 28, 2007 20:11

Could anyone recommend a good pizza place in Manhattan that does NOT serve only New York-style (including Sicilian) pizza? I'm from Western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh), and the pizza there is

• baked in a pan
• thicker/breadier (but not Sicilian-style)
• often cut into smaller triangles or rectangles

I'd really appreciate any suggestions that are similar to my above description. There HAS to be SOMETHING different. I'm craving my hometown's pizza so much!

Thank you.

EDIT
It's been suggested that if I want thick pizza, then I should go to a "theme" restaurant like Papa John's, Domino's, etc. Let me clarify that that's not the thick I meant, but rather the breadiness you get when they make you own pizza at home. (Please don't suggest I make my own. I'm not trying to start a war, just looking for an alternate style.)
