Travel time to midtown from Brooklyn?

If anyone still follows this, can anyone tell me a reasonable time estimate for taking either a Lyft / Uber from Bushwick to the east 58 Street area for a 10:00 AM appointment? My friend needs some help (assistance) to get to an appointment tomorrow morning. We can arrive early, but really trying to NOT be late

the easiest way to check is put your origin and destination in the app and it gives you an estimate, at least uber does

I second this; I have no recent experience taking Uber and none taking Lyft.

Thanks for your input. Sorry for late in responding weeks later. I just responded to the other writer, but also updated my initial question for others.

Long story short: increase your time just in case. The app estimated 25-30 minutes (I forgot the actual ETA), but it took us 45+ minutes, would have probably taken a solid hour if we did not get out and just walk a couple of blocks. Our appt. was just at the base of the midtown bridge which means traffic around there can be really tough and traffic pattern is tightly controlled up there, especially since everything is one-way there.

Thanks girit, forgot to update, now three weeks later.

The ride was estimated to be about 25+ minutes I think, but it actually took about 45 minutes till drop off. And note that I actually asked the driver to drop me off about three blocks from our appt. (after we got across the bridge) due to slow traffic etc., or I think it would have taken us another 10-15 minutes due to traffic restrictions (it took us 5 minutes to walk from the drop-off to our actual appt.)

I'm thinking about this because of the midtown-east side traffic nightmare related to the UN general assembly this week. On days like today (even though the UN is blocks away), I would guess it would take anywhere from 60-90 minutes due to traffic being impacted from everywhere.
