Considering that Saturday is supposedly another apocalypse to-be, I decided to bust out some good stuff (not that I drink bad stuff, but that I do save the best stuff for more special occasions or if I really feel a need to "drink this one off"). Jay, please quit commenting in that bozo thread. Unrelated to this entry. I just wanted to get a message to you. The people it's drawing are all fairly rebelling against any ideology that is not their own. You can't reason with them anymore than you can evangelical Christian types, or any other extremist sect. What does it matter what people you don't even know think? Don't bother getting yourself riled up. Leave 'em alone.

The discussion is done as far as I can tell. I stepped in because of the bigotry and ignorance. One core problem with 21st century America is that people have grown tolerant of backwards-assed rhetoric and condemnation of others who are different. This is why the tea-party rages on in all of its hateful form and why people like Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, and Bachman get to be poster children for that group. If you do not stand-up against those who denounce and mock others, then you're only part of the problem.

Besides, I don't get myself riled-up with these sorts. It's actually amusing to see their frustration mount as I call them out on their bad behavior.
