I hope you are having an excellent May! I am so grateful my spring classes are done with save some students who flopped out and needed incomplete grades. Eh, they were mostly deserved.

I suppose looking out and checking out other people can sometimes remind you what you have and how special, important it is?As long as what you are checking out does in fact seem less special/important, you are of course right. The challenge is what happens when you're in "checking things out mode" because that's been normalized, and then you come across something that *DOES* look better or in fact really might possibly be better - then you have some thinking to do. ;-) Not talking about your specific situation, just the challenge in general with that strategy
