First of all, I really, really admire you for being brave enough to take the step to change. 90% of the time I despise Maths and I'd so much rather do Economics, or, if I'd known when I was 17 that I'd hate it so much, I'd have picked Biology for A-level so I could study Physiology. But yeah, I'm always wanting to quit Maths but too scared to take the leap, so good on you for actually doing so!

Being able to speak languages is so empowering and awesome. Good luck with German and French! I don't think you'll find German too hard, I think the key is listening and speaking, and as the Uni language department probably has tonnes of foreign films, you should get loadsa practice there whilst being entertained! :D

Hmn, it is interesting to rue the "what ifs" sometimes...

Good luck!

Aww thanks! I'd actually looked at the course a couple of times before! When we were looking at unis for my brother early in the summer before i started, and then when i heard our course might have had to be shut down, so i guess i should have noticed that maybe all was not as it should be! But i just had to do it! The teaching degree was just way too limiting! But with Maths could you still go into Economics after uni??

I still think now though whether i made the right decision! lol Like i imagine myself teaching sometimes, just randomly and it makes me wonder, but then i'm like "no hannah you are doing european studies now!" lol

Yeah i'm hoping that picking up German will be quick, and also that i haven't lost much of my French knowledge! Yeah i'm looking forward to using the movies, because i watch them now and just use the subtitles, so that will be good to use the subtitles with the speaking!

Thanks!
