Is there a format for sending in summaries and first drafts? Where do we send them? :)

Stories are to be sent to nextgenbigbang@yahoo.com and when sending your first draft, the body of the e-mail must contain: your penname, the journal or web address you will be posting the story to, the name of the story, and whether it's slash/femslash, het, or gen, as well as Post-War or Next Gen. You must also say whether or not you're doing your own art, because if you are, you aren't up for artist selection.

ETA: also, first drafts should be saved in .doc and already contain your html tags

story summaries - are they meant to be like the kind you have in a story header (designed to tempt and reveal only the bare essentials) or a more indepth one (revealing more of the plot's twists and turns - to help the artists decide)?

How long and detailed your story summary will be is up to you. You can have a one or two line or an entire plot synopsis. Realize that everyone will be reading these story summaries, so we recommend leaving your plot a bit of a mystery. You don't want to give everything away before people start reading it. ;)
